In Chile there is the public sector and the private sector, both of which have great differences and are very segregating in Chilean society. In Chile, for example, the blind had voted since 1969, women since 1949 and illiterates since 1972. All these factors were influencing and building a better country. It should be noted that our country underwent a dictatorship from 11 September 1973 to 11 March 1990, which lasted 17 years under a dictatorial regime characterized by human rights violations.
